Introductory diving course

The course consists of the following activities:

• Theoretical classes that take place in person at our facilities, attached to the Federació Catalana D'Activitats Subaquàtiques (Catalan Federation of Underwater Activities).
• Practical classes in swimming pool or confined waters.
• 3 dives in the sea.

Classes will be held on the first 2 weekends of each month and a minimum of 3 students is required to form a group. For any modification, please contact us.

• Persons between 12 and 14 years of age must be in possession of the Junior Diver qualification, which will later be validated by the 1 Star Diver qualification.
• Minors must have the authorisation of a parent or legal guardian.
• It is necessary to attach a Responsible Declaration or a Medical Report as appropriate in each case.

The course fee covers:

• The membership fee.
• The complete diving equipment required.
• The federative licence for competitions (which includes the compulsory insurance for the practice of the sport, which also offers a large number of advantages, such as discounts on services, shops, medical check-ups, etc. You can consult all the details here).
• The didactic material (Logbook).
• The processing of the qualification with an accreditation card to dive anywhere in the world.

Excluded:

• Travel and subsistence expenses.
• Everything not expressly mentioned under the previous headings.
• The medical certificate.

Is it the same as a PADI dive course?

PADI and CMAS are different certifiers. However, both have an equivalence that is valid internationally. The 1 Star Diver course will allow you to dive all over the world without any problems.
